Ambient‐Condition Strategy for Production of Hollow <scp> Ga <sub>2</sub> O <sub>3</sub> </scp> @ <scp>rGO</scp> Crystalline Nanostructures Toward Efficient Lithium Storage

Crystalline γ-Ga2O3@rGO core–shell nanostructures are synthesized in gram scale, which accomplished by a facile sonochemical strategy under ambient condition. They composed of uniform γ-Ga2O3 nanospheres encapsulated reduced graphene oxide (rGO) nanolayers, and their formation is mainly attributed to the existed opposite zeta potential between Ga2O3 rGO. The as-constructed lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) based on as-fabricated deliver an initial discharge capacity 1000 mAh g−1 at 100 mA reversible 600 500 after cycles, respectively, remarkably higher than those pristine with much lifetime cycles lower capacity. Ex situ XRD XPS analyses demonstrate that LIBs storage dominant conversion reaction alloying mechanism, where discharged product liquid metal Ga exhibits self-healing ability, thus preventing destroy electrodes. Additionally, rGO shell could act robustly as conductive network electrode for significantly improved conductivity, endowing efficient Li behaviors. This work might provide some insight mass production advanced materials mild condition energy applications.
